This statement struck many as particularly ironic given her history of hostility towards Islam. Social media users quickly seized the moment, highlighting the contradiction between her past remarks and her current praise.
Despite having previously apologized for racist comments directed at Indian individuals, Loomer has maintained that Muslim politicians, including Zohran Mamdani and Ilhan Omar, should be barred from U.S. public office.
Attempts to reach Loomer for clarification on whether she recognized the Taj Mahal’s Islamic significance went unanswered.
