Two MAGA-friendly podcasters found themselves grappling with a stark reality on Thursday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
Joe Rogan and comedian Theo Von shared their candid thoughts on the escalating war in Iran, revealing a palpable sense of confusion and concern.
“What do you think is gonna happen?” Von asked, his anxiety evident. “You think we’re gonna be OK?”
“I hope so, of course. I don’t know,” Rogan replied. “I’m confused. I can’t believe we went to this war. When we started bombing Iran, I was like, ‘This can’t be true.’”
Von shifted the conversation to Israel’s military actions against Lebanon, referencing comments from Israel’s defense minister about destroying homes in Lebanese villages to secure northern Israel from Hezbollah.

“And what about Lebanon, now?” Von questioned. “And it’s like, just fucking stop it. What do you need?”
“Well, they’re trying, supposedly, they’re trying to stop the terrorists,” Rogan responded, attempting to provide context.
Von erupted in frustrated laughter. “That’s crazy, though,” he said. “If you’re the fucking terrorist! You know what I’m saying? Like, if you wanna stop them, fucking stand in front of the fucking mirror, and start there.”
“But also, what do I know?” Von continued, his expression reflecting his bewilderment. “But it’s just all like, fuck, there’s gotta be some way we’re better than this.”
The discussion quickly veered off course as Rogan’s producer interjected with details about Bryon Noem, husband of former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and his recent scandal.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump addressed the nation regarding the war in Iran on Wednesday, offering no clear timeline for resolution. Instead, he recounted the durations of past conflicts.
“It’s very important that we keep this conflict in perspective. American involvement in World War I lasted one year, seven months and five days. World War II lasted for three years, eight months and 25 days. The Korean War lasted for three years, one month and two days. The Vietnam War lasted for 19 years, five months and 29 days. Iraq went on for eight years, eight months and 28 days,” Trump stated.
He further discussed the destruction already inflicted upon Iran by the U.S. and Israel while threatening more if a deal wasn’t reached.
