Irina Shayk Channels ‘Death Becomes Her’ in Jaw-Dropping Necklace-Bra Hybrid
Irina Shayk's latest fashion statement is a jaw-dropper, echoing the audacious style of a notorious film villainess.

In Blumarine's resort 2027 campaign, Shayk dons a striking piece that blurs the line between a bra top and an extravagant necklace, reminiscent of Isabella Rossellini's iconic entrance in the 1992 dark comedy "Death Becomes Her."
Rossellini's character flaunted layers of beaded jewelry as a halter, paired with a red velvet wrap skirt. Shayk's version trades colorful gems for clear crystals and silver metal flowers, yet the inspiration is crystal clear.

The supermodel, aged 40, showcases this daring piece alongside a black fringed maxi skirt in one shot, then switches to black briefs, sheer tights, and a feather-trimmed cardigan in another.
Creative director David Koma labels the collection as "seductive and sensual, daring and delicate, barbed and beautiful."

At the 2026 Met Gala, Shayk turned heads in a dangerously low-rise Alexander Wang skirt, featuring a bra made entirely from layered tennis bracelets, chains, and strategically placed gemstones.
This bold look aligns with the trend sweeping Hollywood, where the bejeweled top with no undergarments has become a staple.

Anne Hathaway and Jenna Ortega both rocked a gem-covered Givenchy by Sarah Burton top sans anything underneath, while Doechii added her twist on the chandelier style at the 2026 Grammys. Nicola Peltz also embraced a similar aesthetic in FX's "The Beauty," a Ryan Murphy-directed series that critiques beauty standards.
Shayk continues to push boundaries, sporting a leather corset gown and matching gloves at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards, alongside more shocking leather ensembles for V Magazine earlier this year.
