James Franco's latest stunt involves claiming an alien invaded his home, and the internet is not holding back. The 48-year-old actor has been posting videos alleging he was followed by this extraterrestrial being after the supposed encounter.
Franco has shared multiple clips, but none provide concrete evidence of the alleged visitation. In his latest video, he states, "You wanted it. Here it is. I deliver." This declaration comes after weeks of bizarre claims.
His black-and-white footage supposedly captures a creature lurking in the bushes and peeking into his home. This odd revelation follows a personal update about his Hollywood best friend, adding to the strangeness of the situation.
The footage of the so-called "alien" resembles typical Hollywood depictions, featuring a large head and bulging eyes. Fans remain unconvinced, with many expressing skepticism about Franco's claims.
Comments flooded in, with one user simply stating, "Stop," while another pointed out, "Are we all forgetting HE IS A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR???????" A third user questioned the authenticity, asking, "OK now be real with us. Is this for a movie or is this legit footage?" Another user declared, "Alright, it’s time to unfollow."
Franco's TikTok account follows only two other accounts: the official page for his upcoming film and its director, Christian Guiton.
Guiton has denied that Franco's TikTok antics are promotional material for the film. He stated, "It's not a science fiction movie. It's not a conspiracy movie. If I was promoting Sunshine, this is not how we would do it."
Last month, Guiton sparked concern with his own claims about an alien presence in his home after joining TikTok in June.
Franco's alien narrative began last month when he pointed to his garage in a video. "That’s my garage," he said. "That’s normally where I paint. I was going out there, it was night. I was going to do night painting, and I went inside, and before I even turned the light on, I heard something. I thought it was an animal or something like that. And it wasn’t, it wasn’t a raccoon... I saw eyes, I saw glowing eyes, and a hand."
He continued with a shaky account: "I don’t know how many fingers, but hand, and speaking. I don’t know, something, coming out of... And that was it. I ran, I have not gone back in there, but I’m going to go.... I’m going to show you."
Despite promising followers he would reveal what he saw, he failed to deliver on that promise.
In another video, he introduced himself: "Hey guys, this is James Franco. Me, really James Franco. I’m here at my house. I’m not promoting anything, okay? I’m making this account because," he whispered ominously, "some serious, some serious s--t is going on, okay?"
Franco insisted on his authenticity: "Look here," he said while writing down his TikTok handle. "It’s real, okay? I’m real. It’s not AI, it’s not anything. Could AI James do this? No, could not. This is me, okay? For those who know, there’s some serious stuff going on. That’s why I’m contacting you, that’s why I’m doing this, okay?"
