Hunter Biden Drops Freestyle with Benny Blanco, Sparks Viral Sensation

Jul 12 2026

Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden, just took a swing at freestyling on Friends Keep Secrets, and it’s already blowing up online.

In a recent episode, Hunter joined Benny Blanco, Lil Dicky, and Kristin Batalucco for a casual chat that turned into an unexpected rap session. The clip of this moment has gone viral, showcasing Hunter's attempt to freestyle.

During the show, Hunter addressed Melania Trump's threat to sue him for $1 billion over his claims that Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump in the late 1990s. He also revealed that his father worked 16 hours a day during his presidency.

When Benny asked Hunter if he had ever freestyled before, Hunter shot back with a quick “No.” But when Benny offered him the chance to try, Hunter hesitated, exclaiming, “Oh my God.” After receiving headphones for the performance, he was prompted by Dave to answer, “Would you ever run?” to which Hunter confidently replied, “100%.”

As the music played, Dave asked, “Would you have fun?” Hunter responded flatly, “Never.” The conversation shifted to what the country needs to move forward, and Hunter’s answer was direct: “Get in the streets.” Dave echoed this sentiment, repeating it as the unofficial title of their impromptu song.

The group chanted “Gotta get in the streets,” with Hunter adding, “Down with the man.” The playful banter continued as Dave quipped, “If you need a friend, call a Biden,” leading to a light-hearted exchange where Hunter laughed instead of giving his surname.

Social media exploded with reactions after Ed Krassenstein shared the video on X. He called Hunter’s freestyle “amazing,” while others chimed in with mixed feelings about his newfound popularity. One user noted that Hunter’s renaissance is uplifting, while another criticized the lengths people go for social media fame.

Critics didn’t hold back either. One commenter dismissed the performance as “awful” and expressed embarrassment over its public release. Another remarked on the superficiality of seeking social media followers.

Amidst the freestyle chaos, Hunter praised his father’s dedication. He shared that Joe Biden makes it a point to text or call around 100 people daily, stemming from a lesson learned through personal tragedy. The former president lost his first wife and infant daughter in a car accident in 1972 and faced the death of his eldest son Beau from brain cancer in 2015.

Hunter emphasized his father's commitment to connecting with those who struggle with stuttering, prompting Kristin to comment on the Biden family's inherent “sweetness” and “warmth.”
