RFK Jr. Sparks Outrage with Bizarre '100 Months Pregnant' Claim About His Mother
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. unleashed a storm of confusion with a jaw-dropping claim about his late mother, Ethel Kennedy, in a recent social media post.
The U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services shared an old photograph of Ethel at the Fifth Annual Robert F. Kennedy Pro-Celebrity Tennis Tournament in Queens, New York, to promote his Make America Healthy Again agenda.
In his post, he stated, "My mom at Forest Hills 1975. Still light on her feet after 46 years and 100 months pregnant. #GetOutside #LiveRealLife," alongside a black-and-white image of her on the court.
While he offered no further context, it appears he was attempting to reference her age and the total duration of her pregnancies after giving birth to 11 children.
Pregnancies typically last around nine months, meaning Ethel would have been pregnant for approximately 99 months throughout her life. Born on April 11, 1938, she was actually 47 during the August 1975 tournament, not 46 as claimed.

The internet erupted with confusion over the absurdity of the statement.
"100 months is ridiculous. That kid should be due any minute," one user quipped on X.
Another user sarcastically suggested, "She might want to see an OB/GYN about inducing labor. 100 months is quite a lot. Just a thought."
A third user chimed in, "100 months pregnant? How many does it take to give birth to a Kennedy? That seems excessive."
Some users questioned whether he meant to say 100 days instead of months.

"I think he means '100 days' pregnant. '100 months' would be quite a feat...," another user remarked. The average human gestation period is 280 days, or 40 weeks, from the last menstrual cycle.
Others attempted to clarify the math behind his statement.
"RIP - good to see you honoring her - for those struggling with math - 100 months pregnant = 11 kids," one user explained.
The tennis tournament featured high-profile attendees like Elton John, Bill Cosby, Alan King, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Senator Ted Kennedy, Billie Jean King, Burt Bacharach, Howard Cosell, Dave DeBusschere, Julius Erving, Buddy Hackett, and Sonny Jurgensen.
Ethel played alongside Senator Ted Kennedy in what The New York Times described as "the less serious action," where they defeated Republican Connecticut Senator Lowell Weicker and Mrs. Carla Hills 5-0 in a "political match."
Ethel Kennedy passed away at age 96 on October 10, 2024, due to complications from a stroke.
