Trump's Epic Blunder: Calls TikTok 'Tic Tak' While Claiming Social Media Supremacy
President Donald Trump fumbled hard, calling TikTok "Tic Tak" during a White House event while bragging about his social media clout.
At a promotional event for the Trump savings account, Trump launched into a tirade, claiming he outshined Taylor Swift on the platform.
"Now, there’s a thing called TikTok. Have you heard of it?" he asked reporters, before praising Maria Bartiromo, saying, "she’s fantastic."

He continued, "And on her show, they were talking about the dangers of TikTok," referencing concerns over its Chinese ownership and alleged spying.
Trump asserted that new data revealed he surpassed Swift, stating, "I’m number one on TikTak by far," while claiming Swift was languishing at number 11.
"And I said, well, you know, I’m hearing about how they influence," he added, mixing in his usual rhetoric about national pride.

"And the numbers just came out," he reiterated, seemingly lost in his own claims.
In front of nine children in the Oval Office, Trump’s slip-up drew reactions online. One user quipped, "tbf people around him probably whisper 'tic tac' a lot," while another shot back, "It’s not called Tic Tac; he’s not even remotely close to the most followed person or even in the top 50."
Trump then pivoted to his latest obsession: the threat of Communism. "We got to stop communism. We got to this and that," he declared to the group.

"But I’m by far number one. It was sent to me by, you know, the list comes out," he rambled on, trying to assert his dominance.
"Number one, number two. I was number one by a lot. So I guess maybe I don’t know. Maybe they’re bad. Maybe they’re not," he mused.
He concluded with a bizarre claim that his administration's dealings with TikTok were pivotal in securing his election victory: "I think it helped me win the election in a landslide, if you want to know the truth."
