Fox News Viewers Eviscerate Trump’s ‘Malignant Narcissism’ After Outrageous Lies on Air

Donald Trump, the convicted felon, spewed outrageous claims during his America 250 speech, igniting a firestorm of criticism from Fox News viewers.

On July 4, Trump delivered a 37-minute address at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., celebrating the United States' semiquincentennial. The speech, delayed by severe thunderstorms, quickly went viral as viewers slammed the 80-year-old president for his blatant fabrications.

As he wrapped up, Trump claimed over 100,000 people watched his address, stating, "They estimated they had 375,000 people before everybody had to leave, and they now have 150,000 people. It’s the craziest thing anyone’s ever seen."

Critics on social media were quick to pounce. One viewer called out Trump's "malignant narcissism," stating, "This is such an insanely crazy lie even for him. His malignant narcissism forces him to invent insane nonsense like this. Like wtf," punctuated with three laughing emojis.

Another user countered Trump's numbers, asserting, "Maximum before they left was estimated at 150k so there’s far less now." A third chimed in, "He knows he’s lying, the people listening to his speech know he’s lying... but no one calls him out on it."

A fourth critic asked, "Who’s ‘they,’ you shameless lying buffoon?" while a fifth remarked on Trump's inability to acknowledge reality: "The man loses two-thirds of his own crowd to a thunderstorm and still can’t say ‘the weather got bad.’ Nope, gotta be the craziest thing anyone’s ever seen, like Mother Nature herself is out to get him personally."

In addition to the speech backlash, Trump's July 4 fireworks display faced ridicule for looking like "the end of the world." Complaints arose that the fireworks didn’t technically go off until the following day.

The anticipated show was set to launch approximately 850,000 fireworks shells across ten sites, including the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and Potomac River barges. This was over 80 times the typical amount used in the district for Independence Day.

However, social media users erupted in anger as the sheer volume of fireworks left them "entirely obstructed by their own smoke," leading to comparisons of the display to "war strikes," with one person declaring it looked like "the end of the world."
