Jim Acosta Slams Trump: 'Undoubtedly' in Cognitive Decline
Broadcast journalist Jim Acosta has thrown down the gauntlet, declaring Donald Trump is "undoubtedly" exhibiting signs of cognitive decline.
In a heated exchange with fellow journalist John Harwood, Acosta accused the former president of "malignant narcissism," asserting, "There's no question... about his cognitive decline and whether he's just a man in decline."

Acosta didn't hold back, stating, "I think that's undoubtedly the case. I mean, if we're not going to believe our own eyes and ears anymore... This is the stuff that they're waving in everybody's face about Joe Biden, and Joe Biden was not falling asleep all the time in front of the cameras the way Donald Trump is. I mean, it's kind of embarrassing."
Reports indicate Trump has dozed off at multiple public events, including during his UFC birthday celebrations.
Questions surrounding Trump's mental acuity have dogged him since his return to the White House. Harwood chimed in, pointing out, "You've got the bruised hands, you’ve got the neck and got the face, one side of the face is sagging..." Acosta responded, "Yeah. He got played by the Iranians, got played by the French, he got played by Netanyahu. You know... if you don't laugh at it, it's a very dangerous moment... that I think we're in the middle of right now."

Acosta warned that Trump has emboldened Iran, stating, "He has put the Iranians in a position where now they feel emboldened. I would think maybe they'll wait until the coast is clear a little bit. But I would think they're even more emboldened now to have a nuclear weapons program than ever before that."
His comments resonate with those of Mary Trump, a psychologist and author who has repeatedly criticized her uncle's deteriorating health. She claims his "decaying" condition can no longer be ignored, suggesting he is trapped in a "downward spiral."
In her newsletter dated June 23, she expressed alarm over the 80-year-old president amid ongoing speculation about his health. She pointed to his erratic behavior, late-night social media rants, and faltering peace efforts with Iran, stating, "He may still have moments when he appears more coherent, but psychologically he's in a downward spiral."

Mary Trump added, "He's experiencing constant narcissistic injuries, and nothing terrifies Donald more than humiliation."
As scrutiny of Trump's physical and mental state intensifies during his second term, concerns have been fueled by reports of swollen ankles, hand bruising, a neck rash, and allegations of cognitive deterioration.
White House spokesman Steven Cheung responded aggressively to these claims, dismissing Mary Trump's assessment and labeling her a "stone-cold loser who doesn't have a clue about anything."
