“He treats her like a dog!” John Mulaney didn’t hold back when he unleashed a verbal barrage on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during two Netflix comedy events, branding the politician a “very bad man.”
At the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Mulaney, known for his razor-sharp wit, took aim at the controversial Health and Human Services Secretary. The comedian recounted meeting RFK Jr. a decade ago while both were involved with Riverkeepers, an organization dedicated to cleaning up New York's Hudson River. This jab came just as RFK Jr. was caught scrolling through his phone during an Oval Office event—talk about priorities!

“I know RFK Jr.,” Mulaney quipped, “That’s how much he shouldn’t be in government—because I know him!” He then launched into an impression of Kennedy’s voice that had the audience roaring.
But it was his comments about Kennedy’s wife, Cheryl Hines, that really set the crowd abuzz. “He’s comedy adjacent, you know. He’s married to that woman from Curb Your Enthusiasm and cheats on her like a dog,” Mulaney said, prompting gasps from the audience. “Sorry for the pearl clutch here. Sorry to drop that Public Domain information on the Hollywood Bowl.”

RFK Jr. and Hines have been married for 14 years, but rumors of infidelity have swirled around the politician, particularly after reports surfaced of an alleged affair with journalist Olivia Nuzzi. While Kennedy has largely brushed off these allegations as personal matters or distractions from his political ambitions, Mulaney wasn’t done yet.
“His old job was keeping the Hudson River, whose native fish is tied-off used condoms, clean,” Mulaney declared, calling him a “stupid f--k” to the sold-out crowd. The comedian continued to mock RFK Jr.’s voice, saying, “‘Now I’m in charge of your bones and your tummy,’” poking fun at his role as Health Secretary.

“My father was a good man, and I’m a very bad man… Anyway, enough of that s---. Stop making me political,” Mulaney concluded, leaving the audience in stitches. The following night, he returned to the stage to further roast RFK Jr., this time while discussing his son Malcolm’s fourth birthday.
This isn’t Mulaney’s first rodeo with RFK Jr.; he once interviewed Hines alongside Andy Samberg on the Jimmy Kimmel show. During that segment, Hines reminisced about sharing lemonade with her husband and Fidel Castro in Cuba, calling it “the best lemonade I’ve ever had.”

Mulaney jumped in with a punchline: “The CIA found out he does two Crystal Light packets. That’s the secret.”
With Mulaney’s sharp tongue and fearless humor, it’s clear he won’t be letting RFK Jr. off easy anytime soon.
