Kenzie Annis Fears America Despises Her After Near Elimination from Love Island USA
Kenzie Annis is spiraling, convinced that America hates her after nearly being booted from Love Island USA due to viewer votes.
In the episode aired on July 6, Kenzie expressed her fears to fellow Islanders, lamenting the lack of support from the public for her and Dylan Wrona.
Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou also found themselves in the bottom tier, confused by the lack of votes. Despite this setback, Kayda remained optimistic about her relationship with Zach. Kenzie, however, questioned Dylan's commitment to their connection.
This isn’t the first time viewer voting has come under scrutiny. Last month, host Ariana Madix confronted allegations of rigged voting after Caleb McDaniel and Sol Dean failed to secure a spot as a top couple, despite a significant online push for them during a June episode.
Ariana responded to an Instagram comment stating, “They @loveislandusa messing up the show,” asserting, “Unfortunately, they were not in the top 4.” She also engaged with a comment claiming that production “can’t tamper with results” legally, amidst rampant speculation online.
Frustration erupted among fans when Sol and Gabriel Vasconcelos were eliminated following a group vote. This decision came after America selected their favorite couples, leaving the bottom three vulnerable to elimination, which forced the remaining girls to choose which guy would go home.

Ariana has previously had to address rumors of manipulation. In June 2025, she vehemently denied claims that the show was “rigged,” stating, “You can have whatever opinions you want to have about the show itself, but I will tell you: Don’t you start making up conspiracies.”
She further clarified, “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, so I’m the debunker.”
Ariana also dismissed suggestions that contestants entered the villa with premeditated strategies for victory.
“As much as someone might try to gamify the show for themselves while they’re in there as an Islander, you cannot for 24 hours a day,” she explained. “It’s nearly impossible to really be able to fully keep that mask on at all times.”
She urged viewers to participate by voting, emphasizing that if America has strong feelings about certain Islanders, they have the power to express it. “So if someone is trying to super gamify everything, and if they find out that they’re in the bottom, they’ll be like, ‘Wait, oh.’”
