Trump's Struggle to Walk Straight Sparks Health Controversy, White House Goes Off
A video shows Trump struggling to maintain a straight line while walking, raising alarms about his health and triggering a furious response from the White House.
During a recent visit to Medora, North Dakota, for a dedication ceremony at the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, Trump appeared unsteady as he exited his helicopter. This trip marked the inaugural official journey aboard his newly unveiled Air Force One, a $400,000 gift from Qatar.
The White House reacted aggressively to the footage, with the Communications Director stating, “You must be f---ing blind or stupid, because that was a perfect walk.” This statement was later revealed to be recycled from a previous comment made last September.

Online discussions intensified as viewers noted Trump’s alarming gait. On X, one user remarked, “Trump walks like a guy failing a sobriety test, then labors to get into a helicopter.”
Weeks earlier, Trump exhibited similar unsteady behavior while leaving a Knicks-Spurs game, prompting another user to question, “Are we just not gonna talk about the fact that he cannot manage to walk in a straight line?”
Footage captured Trump slapping his leg multiple times as he walked, leading some to speculate that this was a coping mechanism. “Yeah, do you see the right leg smacks he gives himself? Dude can’t walk a straight line. That’s his therapy tool to keep that right leg in check,” another user commented.
While some defended Trump by attributing his slower pace to aging, others, including self-identified healthcare professionals, suggested more serious underlying health issues. “His right leg is atrophied,” one user claimed. “You can see that it’s not functioning properly. I have the same issue due to a blood clot in my right leg, and I walk the same way. I also have an artificial heart valve. He has clearly recognizable symptoms of heart disease.”

Trump has been filmed multiple times exhibiting unusual walking patterns, including waddling and limping. Despite these observations, Trump and his team have consistently dismissed concerns about his health and age.
In his most recent medical examination, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella reported that Trump “remains in excellent health,” citing strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.
However, public trust in the administration's transparency regarding Trump's health appears to be rapidly declining.
This controversy follows revelations about Trump’s misleading claims regarding his height in a recent photo.
