Kim Scott, ex-wife of Eminem, faced a shocking confrontation with police that ended with her being tased after she bit an officer. This incident unfolded at her Michigan residence following a reported suicide attempt.
On Saturday, Scott was described as “irate and combative,” wearing only a bra and underwear when officers arrived. According to police reports, she resisted arrest and bit an officer's forearm when they attempted to handcuff her.
During the altercation, she screamed at the officers to “get the f—k” out of her house. After being tased, she retaliated by kicking one officer in the left shin.
Scott was subsequently arrested for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. The police were initially called to her home after a relative dialed 911.
The dispatcher relayed alarming details: “Caller says aunt cut her wrist and she’s bleeding.” The caller noted that Scott was sitting on the couch, holding a knife, and refused to relinquish it. The situation escalated to the point where Scott became unconscious before the knife was removed.
Following the incident, Scott was rushed to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Her current medical condition remains undisclosed.
This is not the first time Scott has faced such dire circumstances. She has attempted suicide twice previously. In October 2015, she was involved in a single-vehicle accident in Macomb Township, which she later admitted was an intentional act.
In July 2021, police were called to her home again due to reports of suicidal behavior. Upon arrival, officers found her so combative that they had to restrain her.
Scott has had multiple legal issues recently. A warrant was issued for her arrest in June after she failed to appear for a DUI hearing.
Just a month earlier, she was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI at Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens.
Her tumultuous relationship with Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, is well-documented. They married in June 1999 but divorced in 2001. They reconciled and remarried in January 2006, but just three months later, Eminem filed for divorce again, finalizing it in December 2006.
The couple shares a daughter, Hailie Jade, who is 30 years old. They also adopted Alaina, now 33, whose biological mother was Scott's twin sister Dawn, who died in 2016 from a suspected heroin overdose. Additionally, they have Stevie, 24, Kim's child with former partner Eric Hartter.
