Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson's rumored romance is officially over, a fleeting moment in the spotlight that barely ignited.
After collaborating on the 2025 comedy film The Naked Gun, the two sparked speculation of a romantic link. During promotional events, Neeson, 73, openly declared he was “madly in love with her,” while Anderson, 58, reciprocated the sentiment, claiming he “brings out the best in her.”
Critics dismissed their chemistry as mere theatrics. Months post-release, Anderson clarified their relationship status, confirming they were “romantically involved” for a short time after filming wrapped.
In an interview, she stated, "If you must know. Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while, but only after we finished filming."
The two reportedly spent an “intimate week” at Neeson’s upstate New York residence. Anderson emphasized, “I had my own room. Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”
During what she dubbed their “lost week,” they enjoyed time in his garden and dined out, where Neeson introduced her as the “future Mrs. Neeson.”
Anderson described their time together as reminiscent of a Nancy Meyers romantic comedy, filled with laughter and genuine connection.
She found the speculation surrounding their relationship amusing, recalling, “I was always laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.’”
Despite the initial spark, their romance was short-lived. Following their week together, they parted ways to focus on separate projects.
Anderson expressed that she still “adores” Neeson but clarified that their relationship has shifted to platonic admiration.
“We are better friends, in full honesty,” she remarked. “He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me. I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”
Since their brief entanglement, both have remained single, channeling their energy into various career endeavors.
Post-Naked Gun, Neeson starred in the horror comedy Cold Storage alongside Joe Keery and Georgie Campbell.
He is also set to feature in the comedy heist film 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank later this year.
Meanwhile, Anderson has joined the cast of the upcoming drama film Place to Be and is slated to star in Michael Cera’s directorial debut Love Is Not the Answer, which Neeson is rumored to be part of as well.
