Lindsay Hubbard Goes Wild Over ‘Summer House’ Emmy Nomination: “I Screamed!”
Lindsay Hubbard erupted with excitement after “Summer House” snagged a 2026 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program, marking a historic first for the show after ten seasons.
“I screamed, I didn’t cry but I got chills, and I ran a lap around my apartment,” Lindsay, 39, said in an exclusive statement. The nomination was announced on July 8, and she couldn’t contain her excitement for two hours, pacing and calling everyone she could reach.
Since its premiere in 2017, Lindsay has been a staple of the Hamptons-based series. The competition for the Emmy includes shows like “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked.”

After the initial shock wore off, Lindsay reached out to fellow original cast members Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke to share in the celebration. “I texted Kyle and Carl on a group text first,” she recalled, followed by messages to editors and executives at Truly Original.
Her messages were filled with enthusiasm, packed with caps, exclamation marks, and extra letters to convey her excitement.
“I am so beyond proud and excited for our entire team top to bottom,” she expressed. Lindsay praised everyone involved, from producers to crew members, emphasizing the well-deserved nature of the nomination.
This season gained extra attention due to Kyle and Amanda Batula’s divorce announcement in January. Amanda, 34, has been part of the show since season one when she was introduced as Kyle’s girlfriend.

After four years of marriage, the couple announced their split. Following this, Amanda sparked romance rumors with West Wilson, a season eight addition, but both denied any truth to the speculation initially.
However, on March 31, Amanda and West confirmed their relationship had evolved from friendship to romance.
This revelation sent shockwaves through the Bravoverse, especially since West had been seen getting close again with his ex-girlfriend Ciara Miller during filming in summer 2025. West and Ciara previously dated in 2023, and Amanda was aware of their ups and downs as one of Ciara’s former close friends.

During a dramatic three-part reunion special, West admitted to having “sleepovers” with Ciara in fall 2025 but claimed he didn’t start dating Amanda until February. He also mentioned dating Meija Moreno before Amanda but clarified that she was never his girlfriend.
Some cast members, including Lindsay, Amanda, Kyle, West, and Ciara filmed “Summer House: The Aftermath” to clarify Amanda and West’s relationship timeline further.
Despite the drama surrounding their relationship, it appears their hookup provided the necessary fuel for “Summer House” to earn its first Emmy nod.
The 2026 Emmy Awards air on NBC Monday, September 14, at 8 p.m. ET.
