Supporters of Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again movement are rallying behind military action in Iran, with nearly 90% endorsing the president's recent strikes, as indicated by polling data released this week.
On Tuesday, CNN’s Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten highlighted the overwhelming approval among MAGA supporters for the military operations that commenced over two weeks ago. The data reveals an average of 89% approval, contrasted with a mere 9% disapproval rate.
“This is tremendously popular among the Republican base,” Enten remarked, referring to the U.S.-Israeli military actions.
The analysis stemmed from Gabe Fleisher’s Wake Up To Politics Substack, which cited an NBC News poll showing that 90% of MAGA supporters are in favor of the military strikes.

Additionally, a CNN poll referenced by Fleisher indicated that 77% of Republicans overall support the strikes, with MAGA Republicans demonstrating a 30-point higher likelihood to strongly approve of Trump’s decision to engage militarily in Iran.
Despite this strong backing from MAGA supporters, some notable pro-Trump media figures have expressed skepticism regarding the war's indefinite timeline. Tucker Carlson labeled the military action “absolutely disgusting and evil” during an interview with ABC News’ Jonathan Karl on February 28. In response, Trump stated, “Tucker has lost his way.”
“I knew that a long time ago, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America First, and Tucker is none of those things,” Trump elaborated about the former Fox News host.
Talk radio host Megyn Kelly also voiced her concerns on her SiriusXM show shortly after the strikes began, stating she had “serious doubts” about the war.

"I support the president. I voted for the president. I campaigned for the president. But that doesn't mean...you have to accept another Middle East war without questions,” she asserted.
In a heated exchange on social media, conservative commentator Mark Levin criticized Kelly as an “emotionally unhinged, lewd, and petulant wreck” for her stance on the Iran conflict.
Kelly retaliated on X, saying, “Micropenis Mark Levin thinks he has the monopoly on lewd. He tweets about me obsessively in the crudest, nastiest terms possible.”
Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene supported Kelly’s remarks on X, stating, “I wholeheartedly support Megyn Kelly telling the world that Mark Levin has a micropenis…And Trump’s gigantic defense of Levin only enraged the base more. People are DONE. MAGA destroyed by micropenis Mark Levin.”

In defense of Levin amid this social media feud, Trump took to Truth Social, asserting, “Mark Levin, a truly Great American Patriot, is somewhat under siege by other people with far less Intellect, Capability, and Love for our Country.”
While Trump enjoys substantial backing from his supporters in these polls, broader public sentiment appears less favorable. A recent The Economist/YouGov poll revealed that 56% of U.S. adults disapprove of Trump's handling of the situation in Iran, with only 36% expressing approval.
