Model Rips Airline for Claiming She Was 'Naked' and Blocking Her Flight
A German influencer faced a shocking refusal to board a flight, with airline staff claiming she was “naked.”
Edda Elisa, attempting to escape the heatwave in Germany, wore minimal clothing when she approached the boarding gate. As she scanned her boarding pass, a representative abruptly told her, "You cannot board."

When she pressed for clarification, the response was blunt: "You have nothing on. You are naked." This absurd claim led to a social media outburst from Edda, who later managed to board the flight only after donning a hoodie.
In a follow-up post featuring another outfit, she provocatively asked her followers, "I’m curious to see if this outfit is boarding-worthy this time. What do you think?"
A spokesperson for the airline, Lufthansa, stated that they take passenger treatment seriously and review incidents internally. However, they also emphasized that staff have the authority to exercise "due discretion" regarding passenger attire.

The airline's policy expects all passengers to wear clothing suitable for public travel, ensuring comfort for fellow travelers from diverse backgrounds. This guideline is part of their General Conditions of Carriage.
Online reactions to Edda's experience were mixed. Some defended her choice of clothing as perfectly acceptable, while others sided with the airline's employee, suggesting that discretion in dress is necessary in public spaces.

“Our employees act on this basis with due discretion and within the scope of their judgment,” the spokesperson added.
The influencer's bold response ignited a fierce debate about personal expression versus public decency in travel settings.
“Lufthansa takes indications of potential irregularities in the way passengers are handled very seriously and reviews such incidents internally,” the spokesperson concluded.
