Nickelodeon Star Goes Off Over Insulting Residual Checks: ‘Crashout Incoming’
Jennifer Hyatt Tedmori, a former Nickelodeon star, unleashed a tirade over her laughable residual checks from her time as a child actor. “Crashout incoming,” she declared, holding a stack of envelopes that contained her earnings from “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.”

In a Thursday Instagram video, the 37-year-old revealed the shocking amounts. “Some of these could be a penny, some of these could be $5,” she stated, setting the stage for the absurdity that followed.

Hyatt Tedmori portrayed Doris Trembly for 11 episodes on the show. Upon opening her first check, she was greeted with a staggering two cents. “All of two cents. See all of this paper I’m just littering in my car for two f—king cents,” she exclaimed, visibly frustrated.

She didn’t hold back, criticizing the state of the economy while expressing disbelief at the minuscule amounts. “I know, hard times [and the] economy is s—t, but like two cents? Keep it. Just f—king keep it. I don’t want it,” she said.
Other checks included 63 cents, $1.11, 68 cents, 87 cents, 36 cents, 45 cents, two for three cents, three for 81 cents, and two for $1.01. The sheer volume of low-value checks painted a grim picture of her earnings.

“Don’t come for me about throwing away a nickel. Y’all had f—king let a nickel get lost in your couch,” she shot back at potential critics. “Now, I get it, it’s been a long time. I’m surprised that I’m getting anything. But three cents? It cost you 75 cents to send this envelope, and the way it’s adding up, the math ain’t f—king mathing.”

Hyatt Tedmori also had a brief role as “Goth Girl” in two episodes of The CW’s “90210” reboot. She calculated her total earnings from both shows: “For ‘Ned’s Declassified,’ that brings us to a grand total of $8.63. With ‘90210,’ [it’s] $30.06,” she said.

“Maybe I can go buy a coffee at Starbucks? Do I even report this to the IRS? They’re not even gonna give a f—k,” she added, highlighting the absurdity of her situation.
“I hope you all have a great day,” she concluded. “I hope you get out there and make more than $8.63.”
