Nicki Minaj's latest stunt has critics screaming that she’s “sold her soul” after a jaw-dropping meeting with Donald Trump.
The rapper, who is 43 years old, attended a White House event on July 6, where she was seen watching Trump deliver a speech before heading into the Oval Office for a private chat with the 80-year-old president.

Minaj shared images and videos from the encounter on X, showcasing herself in a Barbie-themed outfit—a pale pink bodycon dress paired with gold jewelry—striking a pose with her hands on her hips while Trump sat grinning behind his desk.
In one post, she wrote, “So crazy!!! No pun intended. And the next line literally said: ‘if we’re in the Oval Office, then it’s lights out’—which is another way of saying ‘game over’.”

She referenced her own lyrics from 2009, where she rapped, “I be with the president up in the White House,” and now finds herself in that very scenario, 17 years later.
In her track "I Get Crazy," Minaj boasts about her “bad b--h mentality” and declares, “If we in the Oval Office then it’s lights out.”
While Minaj seemed pleased with her meeting, fans were not. They flooded the comments on her X post, expressing their discontent. One user blasted, “Nicki Minaj sells out her soul and people for a check.”

Another chimed in with “SELL YOUR SOUL,” while a third fan lamented, “Yup. Your career is ova! Was he worth it? After building such an amazing career?”
One commenter warned, “People will learn when you remind yourself with Donald Trump you eventually will lose; nobody wins dealing with Trump at the end of the day they end up messed up worse off. Pay attention.”

Another critic added, “Just goes to show where you can get if you give up all your morals, sell your soul, become a shyster, turn your back on friends. You go girl. No.. please, go.”
Trump himself faced backlash for his “creepy” comments during the lunch. He praised Minaj, saying, “We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and is a great friend, I don’t say conservative, I say of common sense.”
He continued, “A fantastic person, a woman respected by everybody. She’s got real talent—Nicki Minaj. Stand up, please. Such a great person.”
