Piers Morgan didn’t hold back during his latest segment, unleashing a blistering five-minute rant aimed squarely at Fox News host Mark Levin, labeling him a “colossal hypocrite” who’s “wrong about pretty much everything.”
“Mark Levin is a little-known American broadcaster with a Sunday night graveyard slot on cable news,” Morgan kicked off, setting the tone for his scathing critique. “Very few people watched Mark Levin before the Iran war began. Very few people knew Mark Levin at all. He first came to my attention because of his extraordinary social media outburst about many of the people I happened to be interviewing.”
The animosity between Morgan and Levin ignited after an interview with Megyn Kelly, where both took aim at Levin’s unwavering support for President Donald Trump’s military maneuvers in the Middle East. Levin didn’t take kindly to the criticism, firing back on Tuesday by calling Morgan “a vile as*hole.”
“As for the specific allegation that I am a ‘vile asshole,’ I suppose I’ll have to reflect on that calmly and carefully because, let’s be honest, Mark Levin, of all people, is a world expert in vile assholes,” Morgan retorted, clearly unbothered by Levin’s insult.
Despite claiming he “didn’t feel any real need to acknowledge” Levin, Morgan pointed out how unpopular Trump’s war has become, especially among far-right influencers. With many MAGA personalities shifting their support, Levin has transformed into “the president’s Sunday night armchair attack dog, barking fury at anyone who criticizes the president,” according to Morgan.
Trump has been boosting Levin and his show on Truth Social lately, dubbing the Fox News host “a truly Great American Patriot.” Morgan quipped, “All of a sudden, supporting Mark Levin is the prize of admission to the MAGA movement. The neoconservative war hawk who once vowed ‘Never Trump’ is now, according to Trump, the embodiment of Trumpism.”
But Morgan wasn’t done. “The problem is he’s also a colossal hypocrite and wrong about pretty much everything,” he declared. He accused Levin of condemning “unhinged liberals who compare Trump and Republicans to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis,” while simultaneously adopting “every single tactic of the original woke movement, right down to advocating cancellation and censorship.”
“Mark Levin is a big advocate for free speech so long as you agree with him,” Morgan continued, driving home his point about Levin’s selective principles.
In response to Morgan’s fiery segment, Levin penned a lengthy rebuttal, branding the British journalist a “WASHED UP PODCASTER CLOWN” who is “ridiculed in his home country because he humiliated himself as a tabloid thug for years.”
“I understand Morgan’s frustrated. Life is passing him by. Time is running out. He has nothing to show for his decades of insults, blather, and self-aggrandizement,” Levin wrote in part. “He’s emotionally unraveling, lashing out in every direction, like a petulant child, panicking and scratching feverishly for more attention. Whatever it takes.”
