Puka Nacua Faces Allegations of Assault Following Antisemitic Comment

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is at the center of serious allegations after a woman accused him of biting her following an antisemitic comment made during a New Year’s Eve dinner. The incident reportedly took place in Century City, California, on December 31, 2025.

The woman has filed a restraining order against the 24-year-old athlete, claiming he uttered the phrase “f*** all the Jews” during the gathering. This statement, according to the restraining order obtained by various sources, marked the beginning of what she describes as a series of escalating aggressive behaviors.

Following the dinner, the group boarded a Sprinter van where Nacua allegedly became overly familiar. The woman claims he “dropped his head into [her] girlfriend’s lap and crotch area” before biting her thumb with such force that it caused her to scream in pain.

In addition to this incident, she asserts that Nacua bit her on the left shoulder, breaking the skin. A photograph of the alleged bite mark was included in her restraining order documentation.

Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, has categorically denied all allegations. “Puka denies these allegations in the strongest possible terms,” he stated, indicating plans to file a defamation lawsuit against the accuser. “We will pursue all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements.”

Regarding the antisemitic comment, McCathern claimed that a sober witness has confirmed that Nacua did not make such remarks. He acknowledged the bite mark but attributed it to “horseplay,” suggesting that the situation was mischaracterized.

Furthermore, McCathern alleged that the woman sought millions of dollars to keep her claims private. “Let’s be clear about what this case is — and what it is not,” he continued. “This matter is not sexual in nature, nor does it involve any allegation of domestic violence. If it did, the filings would look very different. They do not. It also doesn’t involve any elements of antisemitism.”

A Los Angeles judge has denied the restraining order, with a hearing set for April 14. This incident follows a previous controversy in December 2025 when Nacua issued an apology after making a gesture with known antisemitic implications during a livestream with influencer Adin Ross.

“At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people,” Nacua stated in an Instagram post. “I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people.”
