Joe Rogan Unexpectedly Criticizes Erika Kirk in a Surprising Turn

Mar 24 2026

In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan expressed his thoughts on a resurfaced CIA video featuring Erika Kirk, igniting a wave of reactions across social media.

Rogan, known for his candid commentary, described Kirk as having “crazy eyes” and made an eyebrow-raising claim regarding her anatomy. His remarks came after he viewed the video where Kirk discussed national security threats, a topic that seemed at odds with her background as a former beauty queen.

“She was in some weird CIA films, some weird internal films that she was a part of. It is very weird, it’s about EMP attacks and power grids,” Rogan stated during “The Joe Rogan Experience.” His observations didn’t stop there; he also noted her unsettling facial expressions, which he characterized as “demon eyes.”

Reactions to Rogan’s comments were swift. Supporters of Kirk criticized him for what they perceived as mockery, while others echoed his sentiments about her expressions. Among the critics was Candace Owens, who has been vocal against Kirk since the passing of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

On social media, some users aligned with Rogan’s perspective on Kirk’s so-called “crazy eyes.” One account, Project Constitution, whose owner recently received a cease-and-desist letter from Kirk, claimed Rogan had accurately pointed out her peculiar expressions.

Owens chimed in with sarcasm, suggesting that Kirk might send Rogan a cease-and-desist letter as well. “Oh no! Another commentator to send a cease and desist to for stating the obvious fact that Erika’s behavior, demeanor, and history is bizarre,” she quipped.

Owens had received her own cease-and-desist letter earlier this year, while Campbell’s letter surfaced more recently. The contents of Owens’ letter remain largely unknown, but Campbell’s version has gained traction online.

Kirk’s legal representative described Campbell’s claims as “false and defamatory,” asserting that they caused “tremendous damage” to both her and her late husband’s nonprofit organization. The letter emphasized that while Kirk welcomes open debate, there is no tolerance for false statements that harm reputations.

In response to the cease-and-desist, Owens dismissed the legal threat with derision. “It’s gay to send a legal letter,” she remarked, suggesting that direct communication would be more appropriate.

Campbell defended his comments as protected under the First Amendment, indicating he would not comply with the legal notice. As of now, it remains uncertain whether Kirk will pursue further legal action against either individual.

The legal notice sent to Campbell indicated that Kirk and her late husband’s nonprofit do not seek litigation but rather the removal of defamatory posts and an end to the harassment.
