Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll Touch Down in Florida Following 2026 Masters Triumph

Apr 16 2026

Rory McIlroy and his wife, Erica Stoll, landed in Florida on a private jet, celebrating the golfer's remarkable second consecutive Masters victory.

The couple, along with their five-year-old daughter Poppy and McIlroy's parents, arrived in Miami, as captured in photos circulating on social media. Their residence, a lavish $22 million mansion in Jupiter, Florida, is situated in the exclusive Bear’s Club designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Just three days post his historic win, McIlroy, 36, made headlines as the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2002 to secure back-to-back Masters titles, pocketing a hefty $4.5 million in prize money.

Originally purchasing their Jupiter home in 2012, the family transitioned to Wentworth, England, in 2025. This move followed a brief separation in 2024 when McIlroy and Stoll contemplated divorce but ultimately reconciled by June of that year.

During his trophy acceptance speech after the April 12 victory, McIlroy expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Stoll, Poppy, and his parents for their unwavering support. “First and foremost, my wife and daughter, Erica and Poppy,” he stated. “They have to put up with me at home, and trust me, sometimes that’s a tough thing to do.”

He added humorously about Poppy’s excitement during Masters week: “This has definitely turned into Poppy’s favorite week of the year. I don’t know if it’s because of the Par 3 Tournament or all you can eat ice cream in the players’ services building.”

McIlroy also shared a light-hearted moment regarding his parents’ absence the previous year: “My mum and dad weren’t here last year to celebrate with us and surprisingly I had to convince them to come this year because they thought the reason I won was because they weren’t here,” he remarked. “I’m glad we proved that wrong, so they can keep coming as long as they want.”

After sinking the final putt that sealed his victory, McIlroy embraced Poppy in a heartfelt hug before inviting Stoll to join them. “I was a little kid with a dream,” he reflected during his speech. “The support that I have from my family, my friends, everyone back home... Some people probably thought it was outlandish to dream the things that I wanted to do, but I had amazing support from back home and can’t thank them all enough for that continued support.”
