Sandra Lee on the Hunt for a Younger Flame After Heartbreak: ‘Only Two Lovers in 20 Years’
Sandra Lee is back on the market and ready to shake things up.

“If the right person comes along, who knows?” she teased at the BCRF’s Hot Pink Party, clearly open to new romantic adventures.

“It’s all about energy, having fun, and enjoying life. I’m a very comfortable monogamous person,” she added, setting the stage for her next chapter.
But here’s the kicker: “Honey, I’ve had sex with two men in 20 years!” she revealed, making it clear that her dating history is as selective as it is sparse.

The 59-year-old “Semi-Homemade” queen recently ended her engagement with 47-year-old Ben Youcef, a relationship that began in 2021 after a chance meeting in Santa Monica.

Lee shared the news of their split last month via an emotional Instagram post, emphasizing her respect for Youcef. Before him, she was linked to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo from 2005 to 2019.

When asked if she’s swiping on dating apps, Lee confirmed she’s not, prompting us to dig deeper into her ideal match. “Gosh, obviously I like tall, dark, and handsome,” she said with a wink. “Brown eyes, chocolate frosting eyes, younger than me. I like a lot of energy!”
And how young is she willing to go? “What is it? Half your age plus seven?” she quipped, leaving the door wide open for eligible bachelors around 37 to step forward.

On a more serious note, the BCRF Gala holds special significance for Lee. After being diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in May 2015 and undergoing a double mastectomy, she’s now celebrating ten years cancer-free.

“I went in for the final appointment with my doctor,” she recalled. “She said, ‘You’re 10 years out, you’re good, you can take hormones again!’”

William P. Lauder, Estée Lauder Companies Chair of the Board and BCRF Co-Chair, also attended the event, which was co-founded by his late mother, Evelyn, who succumbed to breast cancer in 2011.
“The legacy she left us is something we carry on with great honor,” Lauder stated. “She was a force to be reckoned with, and the movement she helped start has gathered momentum.”

He highlighted the progress made in breast cancer survival rates over the past three decades—up from a 75 percent chance of surviving Stage-1 breast cancer five years or more to over 90 percent today.

“And it’s all because of the amazing work that researchers have done,” he explained.
The star-studded evening, hosted by Elizabeth Hurley and featuring a performance by Elton John, raised over $9 million for a global network of 260 scientists dedicated to breast cancer research.
