Shania Twain Blames Harry Styles for Missing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding

Shania Twain threw Harry Styles under the bus for her no-show at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.

She claimed her commitment to Styles' "Together, Together" tour kept her from attending the nuptials. "Taylor Swift invited me to her wedding, and I couldn’t go because I was already committed to Harry’s shows," Twain stated during a chat with CTV's etalk.

Twain found humor in the situation, noting the irony of missing the wedding due to her connection with Swift's ex-boyfriend. "It’s just kind of funny that happened that way," she said, referencing Swift's brief fling with Styles from 2012 to 2013.

She insisted she would have made it if she could. "I would have done anything to be at Taylor’s wedding," Twain emphasized, adding, "It would have been really lovely for me to be there, but I was with Harry."

Twain opened for Styles during his 12-show residency at Wembley Stadium, which wrapped up on July 4.

Swift and Kelce tied the knot in New York City on July 3, just hours before Styles performed "Two Ghosts," a breakup anthem inspired by his past with Swift.

Styles' fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, attended the wedding solo, as she is close friends with Swift. Kravitz was spotted arriving in a stunning beaded mesh dress and strappy heels.

She was among over 1,000 guests at the high-profile event. Meanwhile, Twain wasn't the only celebrity to miss out on the wedding festivities.

Ryan Seacrest revealed on his radio show that he had to cancel his RSVP due to a Disney commitment. "After I RSVP’d to go… Disney hired [me] to do the Fourth of July 250 special on the 3rd and the 4th," he explained.

The "American Idol" host, 51, felt torn but had "no choice" since it was part of his job at Disney.

James Taylor also missed the wedding, opting instead to perform at Tanglewood Music Festival, a tradition he has upheld for 52 years during the Independence Day concert.

“You know, [my wife Kim] and I were invited to a wedding at Madison Square Garden tonight,” Taylor told his audience.
