Social Media Roasts White House Over Trump’s ‘Locked In Mode’ Post

Apr 21 2026

On Monday, the White House shared a photo of Donald Trump at a UFC event, styled to resemble an iPhone lock screen, igniting a wave of mockery across social media platforms.

The image cleverly imitated the iPhone’s “Do Not Disturb” feature, presenting options to silence notifications for work, sleep, or to “lock in.”

Accompanying the post, the White House declared: “LOCKED IN MODE: ACTIVATED,” followed by the motivational phrase, “It’s Monday. No excuses. Just wins.”

However, this attempt at engagement quickly drew criticism.

Users flooded social media with responses highlighting Trump’s troubling polling figures and condemning his handling of the Iran conflict, which has led to soaring gas prices and economic concerns.

Some users brought up Trump’s controversial connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, while others humorously altered the menu options to include “SHUT DOWN” and “step down.”

One particularly sharp comment suggested that the only fitting setting would be “locked up,” while another user noted that “presidential dignity mode” appeared to have been “obviously deactivated.”
