Sydney Sweeney Sparks Outrage with Bikini Snap and Taylor Swift Shade

Sydney Sweeney's latest Instagram post has sent shockwaves through the internet, featuring a bikini shot that has fans buzzing and critics fuming.

The actress captioned her post, "A little aussie dump," showcasing intimate moments with her boyfriend, Scooter Braun. Among the images was a daring close-up of Sweeney in a black-and-white gingham bikini top adorned with rose-petal details. Fans wasted no time in showering her with compliments about her physique.

"The most beautiful body on the PLANET. I don’t gaf abt 99.9% of celebs but Sydney is special," one fan declared. Another chimed in, "She’s unbelievably sexy." This comes on the heels of the 28-year-old seemingly taking a shot at pop icon Taylor Swift.

Sweeney is currently linked to music executive Scooter Braun, who has a notorious history with Swift. The actress stirred controversy when she unveiled a preview of her lingerie line, SYRN, featuring underwear emblazoned with the phrase "But daddy, I love him."

This phrase mirrors the title of a track from Taylor's 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department, prompting Swift's fans to speculate whether Sweeney's message was aimed at the singer.

In her post promoting the new collection, Sweeney wrote, "Panty packs with some of my lil sayings. Hehehe." Many interpreted this as a direct jab at Swift, who not only has a song titled "But Daddy I Love Him" but also maintains an ongoing feud with Braun.

One user on X remarked, "Sydney Sweeney, girlfriend to Scooter Braun, has a Taylor Swift lyric on a pair of panties that her brand is selling, 'But daddy I love him', and then she says it is one of her little sayings? Messy girl."

The feud between Scooter and Taylor erupted when his company acquired Big Machine Label Group in 2019, giving him control over the master recordings of her first six albums. Taylor claimed she was blindsided by the deal and accused Scooter of "incessant, manipulative bullying" throughout their interactions.

Following the fallout, Scooter sold the catalog to Shamrock Capital in a deal reportedly worth around $300 million.

Despite the swirling speculation and public scrutiny, Sydney appears unfazed. In her latest post, she cozies up to Scooter, even recreating the iconic Titanic pose on a yacht in one of the snapshots.

The actress announced her lingerie brand's launch in January, stating, "I was in the sixth grade with DDs. I hated the bra I had to wear. When I bought my first cute bra that actually fit, I wore it to pieces. Designing for different bodies is a huge part of Syrn."

She emphasized her desire to create a space for women to embrace their multifaceted identities: "I love working on cars, I go waterskiing, I’ll dress up for the red carpet, then go home to snuggle my dogs. I’m not one thing; no woman is."
