Taylor Frankie Paul Unleashes Fury on Critics While Drowning in Legal Chaos
Taylor Frankie Paul, embroiled in a web of legal issues, refuses to back down from social media, declaring there's no reason to stop posting.
In a bold Instagram post, the star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, age 32, fired back at her critics on July 24.
The video backdrop? A city engulfed in flames, while Taylor casually adjusted her hair.
Text overlaying the clip read, “My life plus people outraged I’m still online.” She quipped, “Me: how I do my claw clip.”

Accompanying the video was audio from an unknown source, mocking the reality TV figure. “Who is still rocking with Taylor Frankie Paul? And are they just scared of her?” the voice questioned. “Because I would be. I’m afraid of just posting this video that she’s going to come in my comments.”
In the caption, Taylor responded to the audio, stating, “Not sure what there is to be scared of.. [All] I do is cry and I’m just trying to live life through crisis with my hair tips.”
Later that day, she shared highlights from her week via Instagram Story, which included “trauma therapy,” “PCIT therapy,” a “call with my coach,” and “kisses” from her children.
The former Bachelorette faces ongoing custody battles with exes Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen. She shares children Indy, age 8, and Ocean, age 6, with Tate, and son Ever, age 2, with Mortensen.
Earlier in the week, Taylor reflected on dealing with “haters” amid her controversies. On July 21, she posted on Instagram Story that “hate is a sign of growth. If you don’t have haters, you’re not doing s***. The more support and growth that builds, unfortunately, so does the noise.”
She emphasized that their hate and judgments are “none of my business,” adding that it can feel heavy at times. “You’ve shown me grace through scrutiny, so remember to allow that for yourself too. I got you. He’s got you. Now go cry… it always helps. I’ll be doing the same.”
Taylor took a plea deal in a 2023 domestic violence case but found herself in another altercation with Mortensen in February, investigated by Draper City Police Department. Both parties denied each other’s domestic violence claims. During this turmoil, Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was yanked from ABC’s spring schedule.
In April, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office opted not to file criminal charges against her.
Mortensen received temporary custody of Ever, limiting Taylor to eight hours of supervised visitation weekly. A judge issued protection orders requiring both to maintain a distance of 100 feet for three years. However, their custody agreement was modified earlier this month to grant Taylor more unsupervised time with Ever while Mortensen gained extended weekends.
