Tiger Woods faced law enforcement scrutiny following a rollover car crash that led to his DUI arrest. The incident occurred on March 27 in Jupiter Island, Florida, where Woods, 50, was found with two hydrocodone pills tucked in his left pocket, as detailed in an arrest affidavit.

Described as “sweating profusely” during police questioning, Woods had just clipped a pickup truck near his residence. He later explained that he was distracted by his cellphone and adjusting the radio when the accident happened, failing to notice the vehicle ahead had slowed down.

Witnesses noted Woods’ movements were “lethargic and slow,” yet the affidavit indicated he remained “extremely alert” while responding to officers. When asked to perform field sobriety tests, he exhibited signs of impairment, limping and stumbling to the right, all while wearing a compression sock on his right knee.

Woods disclosed to officers that he had undergone seven back surgeries and over 20 procedures on his leg, which contributed to his limp and occasional ankle seizing. Upon removing his sunglasses, officers observed that his eyes were “bloodshot and glassy,” with pupils that were “extremely dilated.”
