Trump Enthusiastically Backs Jake Paul for Future Political Aspirations — But There's a Major Twist

Mar 13 2026

At a rally in Kentucky, President Donald Trump declared his “complete and total endorsement” of Jake Paul, the YouTube sensation turned boxer, although Paul has yet to announce any political ambitions.

“I’m predicting that you will be, in the not-too-distant future, running for political office,” Trump stated, addressing Paul directly. “And you have my complete and total endorsement!”

“OK?” Trump continued, praising Paul as “an incredible guy” with “a lot of courage, smarts.”

Paul joined Trump at a packaging facility in Hebron, Kentucky, not far from his roots in the Cleveland area.

“What Mr. Trump has taught me is courage,” Paul remarked. “We never back down from a fight.”

“God’s got us, Trump’s got us,” he added, emphasizing his admiration for the former president.

Paul's boxing career reached new heights with a lucrative victory over an aging Mike Tyson in 2024. However, he faced a setback after suffering a broken jaw in a knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2025, leaving him months away from returning to the ring.

This hiatus might provide Paul with the opportunity to consider his political future.

Both Jake and his brother Logan Paul have shown support for Trump, even attending his second inauguration. Yet, Logan has publicly disagreed with Jake’s criticism of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance, highlighting differing views within the family.
