Trump Proposes MAGA Rally After Artists Bail on Freedom 250 Bash
President Trump slammed artists who bailed on the Freedom 250 event, labeling them "Third Rate" and suggesting a Make America Great Again rally instead. This comes after multiple performers withdrew from the lineup for the celebration of America's 250th birthday.
The Great American State Fair, set to kick off on June 25, originally featured big names like Martina McBride, Morris Day and the Time, The Commodores, and Bret Michaels of Poison. All have since pulled out.

Martina McBride cited a misleading opportunity in her social media post, claiming she thought it was a nonpartisan event aimed at uniting people through music. She expressed disappointment over the changing circumstances that contradicted her initial understanding.
Despite the withdrawals, Vanilla Ice remains committed to performing, asserting that the event is not a political platform but a celebration of America's birthday.
In a social media post on Saturday, Trump declared he would deliver a speech to rally the nation "forward like I have done ever since being President!" He later suggested scrapping the fair in favor of a MAGA rally, criticizing the remaining performers as "overpriced singers" whose music is "boring" and who "do nothing but complain."

The Freedom 250 celebration is organized by a public-private group collaborating with the White House. Critics argue that the event has become more about Trump than about celebrating the country.
Democratic lawmakers and watchdog groups like Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington have raised concerns about the sources of private donations for the 250th celebrations.
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum defended the planning of the events as "nonpartisan," dismissing calls for transparency regarding donor identities. He emphasized that the focus should be on Americans celebrating the 250th anniversary.
