Trump's Disturbing Swollen Face Sparks Health Fears in Latest Interview
Trump’s face looked “swollen” during a recent Oval Office interview, alarming viewers and raising questions about his health. “He looks extremely unhealthy. Oh, well…” one user remarked.
In the interview with CNBC’s Joe Kernen, Trump discussed various topics, including the economy and the 2026 midterm elections. He claimed that his presidency is so powerful that any actions by his children could be perceived as conflicts of interest.
“If they buy an energy-efficient truck, they have inside information,” Trump stated. He advised his children to “stay away” from business dealings, but acknowledged their lives existed before his political ambitions.

Viewers fixated on Trump’s appearance, with journalist Aaron Rupar commenting, “Trump's face looks very swollen.” Another observer noted, “He’s old and tired... I’m sure there are times he regrets running for a second time.”
The day prior, Trump participated in an America 250 event in North Dakota, where he stumbled through a lengthy speech, further fueling health concerns about the 80-year-old president.
Trump is scheduled to deliver a long July 4 speech in Washington, D.C., expected to exceed 45 minutes, with temperatures projected to soar above 100°F. “On July 4, it’s going to be approximately 107 degrees out. And I’m gonna go, and I’m gonna make a really long speech, just to show I can do anything,” he declared.
A bruise on Trump’s hand also caught attention, with Rupar describing it as looking like it’s “rotting.” He commented on a newer photo of Trump, stating, “Oh my goodness — it looks like the rot on Trump’s hand is now rotting,” which drew agreement from many viewers.

Trump’s hand was photographed during his visit to North Dakota for the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Concerns about his health have intensified following his return to the White House.
Recent discussions about Trump’s health emerged in a new book, with CNN anchor John Berman highlighting revelations about Trump’s hearing difficulties. “I didn’t know the president was having a hard time hearing or that his hearing was fading?” Berman questioned.
New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan noted that aides are aware of Trump’s age-related issues. Haberman stated, “What exactly goes on with Donald Trump’s health is one of the mysteries of the last 10 years.”

This comes as Trump reportedly issued a blunt “never leave me” warning to one of his aides. Haberman suggested that the White House is skilled at concealing Trump’s medical problems.
She added, “He is moving differently. He has swelling in the ankles, which he was so irritated by the coverage. He’s very sensitive about his appearance.”
Haberman later confirmed that Trump’s hearing issues are known among his staff. “The fact that he is older makes it harder to mask it,” she said.
According to the book, Trump became frustrated with media reports regarding his “cankles” and instructed press secretary Karoline Leavitt to address it publicly. The book also details his ankle swelling, attributed to chronic venous insufficiency.
