As the golf balls flew on a sunny Saturday in Jupiter, Florida, Trump abruptly abandoned the fairway for a "scheduled dental appointment," according to the White House. But hold on—this visit wasn’t on his public agenda, and that’s where the plot thickens.
Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a seasoned cardiologist who once treated the late Vice President Dick Cheney, is calling out the White House for what he describes as a "lack of candor" regarding Trump's health. He pointed out that previous presidents have had their dental work done right in the White House, so why the sudden trip to Florida?
"The White House has had a dental operatory since the Hoover Administration. Routine dental exams can be done in the WH," he tweeted, questioning why Trump opted for a Saturday appointment at a local dentist instead of utilizing the facilities available to him.
Reiner didn’t stop there. He followed up with a pointed remark: "There’s been such lack of candor about the health of the president that even a visit to the dentist raises questions." He even speculated, "Maybe he just likes this dentist," but the insinuation was clear—something’s off.
With a history of expressing concern over Trump's well-being, Dr. Reiner previously noted that during a televised address, Trump appeared "unwell." "The pace of this address is manic," he remarked, echoing worries that have only intensified since.
Just a day after the dental visit, Trump ally Rep. Nancy Mace sent out a chilling message on social media urging followers to "pray" for the president. "Pray for President Trump," she posted early Sunday morning, adding fuel to the fire of speculation surrounding his health.
In recent months, Trump has been seen sporting swollen ankles and dark bruises on his hands, prompting further scrutiny. The White House has tried to quell these concerns, attributing his leg swelling to a chronic vein condition and claiming that bruises were merely from frequent handshakes. But as more bruises appeared on his left hand, skepticism grew.
Adding to the drama, reports have surfaced of Trump nodding off during crucial cabinet meetings. Yet, despite these alarming signs, Trump continues to boast about acing cognitive tests while his doctor insists he is in "excellent" health.
The mystery surrounding Trump's dental appointment is just another chapter in an ongoing saga of health speculation that refuses to die down. As questions linger and concerns mount, one thing is clear: the public is watching closely.
