Trump's White House Hijacks Drake's Vibe with 'ICED OUT' Album Cover Remix
Drake dropped a bombshell with the announcement of three new albums just before midnight on Thursday, but the White House had other plans. On Friday, they unleashed a garish imitation of his “Iceman” album cover, twisting it into a promotional piece for Donald Trump’s hardline immigration stance.

In the original artwork, Drake proudly displays a “6” with his hand, decked out in a diamond-studded glove that screams Toronto pride. The White House’s version? A gaudy Cuban link chain draped over the image, complete with a “MAGA” pendant dangling like a bad joke.
The caption “ICED OUT” is a double entendre, nodding to both the bling and the notorious U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement—an agency infamous for its brutal raids, tragic shootings, and the detention of children.

It’s not the first time the Trump administration has resorted to cringe-worthy, AI-generated visuals of the president set to popular tracks, often without so much as a nod to the artists involved. Last year, they used Sabrina Carpenter’s “Juno” in a montage glorifying ICE arrests, prompting Carpenter to slam them on X: “This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”

Artists have been vocal about their disdain for the administration’s appropriation of their music to bolster Trump’s MAGA message. Eminem was among the first to call out the president, labeling him a “bitch” during a viral freestyle back in 2017, which led to an awkward visit from the Secret Service.
Drake has previously criticized Trump for creating a “flagrantly racist cultural climate,” yet he remains silent on this latest “ICED OUT” debacle. Will he finally speak up against this blatant appropriation of his artistry? Only time will tell.
