Trump Unleashes Threats: 1000 Missiles Ready to Rain Down on Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran, declaring that 1000 missiles are "locked and loaded" after the funeral of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, where open calls for his assassination echoed. This incident highlights the escalating tensions in the Middle East as an interim deal aimed at ending ongoing conflicts falters under relentless crossfire.
Trump's remarks came via his Truth Social platform, following demands from senior U.S. officials for Iran to publicly affirm that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and that vessels traversing this critical maritime corridor will not face attacks. Tehran has yet to comply, maintaining its claim over the strait and insisting on its right to charge ships passing through, challenging long-standing international norms regarding this vital waterway.

Recent days have seen a flurry of U.S. airstrikes targeting Iranian positions, met with retaliatory fire from Iran directed at various nations throughout the region. These military actions were ignited by Iran's assault on three ships in the strait earlier this week.
“1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat,” Trump stated emphatically on his platform.
He further proclaimed that the U.S. military would “completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran - PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!”
