White House Slams The Chicks’ Natalie Maines as a ‘Despicable Nobody’ After Vulgar Trump Rant
The White House is not holding back after The Chicks’ Natalie Maines unleashed a profanity-laden tirade against President Trump on social media.
This week, Maines ignited a firestorm with an Instagram post that accused Trump of dismantling democracy, calling him out in a way that left little to the imagination.
“Natalie Maines is a despicable nobody who clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted her peanut-sized brain,” a White House spokesperson spat, making it clear they’re not fans of the singer’s antics.

In her original post, Maines didn’t hold back: “Our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes. This fugly slut is using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists. But don’t worry about it. I’m sure posting selfies will fix everything.”
She followed up with, “My last post that called him a fugly slut got removed. We’ll see how long this one lasts. Repost and help the message live.”
Reactions poured in like a tidal wave across social media. Some fans cheered her on for her boldness, while others slammed her for being out of touch and divisive.
“[She’ll] never learn… She ruined her entire band’s life by running her mouth about her political beliefs on a stage she’s paid to display her talent on, not her political beliefs,” one critic raged on X.

Another user shot back, “He’s not going anywhere!! He is your president!! His voters have no regrets!”
“Like she’s somebody! I used to like her music until she started broadcasting her opinions on the open stage. We don’t want to hear it. You all have no idea nor do you care how the middle class live and survive. Stick to your art,” another comment echoed the frustration.
But not everyone was against Maines. Supporters rallied behind her, saying, “OG’s know this isn’t an out of left field opinion from you. And you’re still [100%] correct.”

“You been preachin’ truths from the start! Keep preachin’!” another fan added, showing solidarity.
One fan even expressed gratitude for Maines’ courage, writing, “Thanks for this Nat. [Saluting your] bravery. coming back here is brutal… the heaviness and anxiety. but we live to fight another day.”
Maines has always been unafraid to dive into political controversy. Back in 2003, she famously told concertgoers in London that she was “ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas,” referring to George W. Bush just before the Iraq War.
The backlash was fierce then, especially within country music circles, with many radio stations yanking The Chicks’ songs from their playlists and some fans publicly destroying their albums in protest.
