Ana Navarro Takes a Jab at Caitlyn Jenner Over Passport Gender Change Plea
Caitlyn Jenner's recent appeal to Donald Trump for a change in her passport gender has drawn sharp criticism from Ana Navarro, co-host of The View. The 76-year-old transgender activist and vocal Trump supporter expressed frustration over her passport reflecting her biological gender at birth, which she claims hinders her ability to travel internationally.
Last year, the State Department revised its passport policies following an executive order from Trump that mandated recognition of only two sexes—male and female—based on birth certificates and biological classification. This decision has left Jenner feeling trapped, as she recently renewed her passport only to receive it back with the gender marker listed as 'M.' “Screws everything up,” she lamented during an appearance on the Fox talk show Tomi Lahren Is Fearless.
Navarro wasted no time in mocking Jenner's predicament, posting a screenshot of the news on Instagram with the caption: “Boo-hoo. Cry me a f***ing river.” This comment reflects Navarro's long-standing opposition to Trump, having previously accused his administration of gaslighting the public regarding various issues, including the controversial death of Minneapolis ICU nurse Alex Pretti.

Followers of Navarro's post seized the moment to voice their opinions, criticizing both Trump and Jenner. One user remarked, “Supporting a movement that limits your own rights is a difficult contradiction to ignore. She had it coming.” Another added, “Congratulations you got what you voted for!” while a third echoed, “She literally voted for this!!!”
During her Fox segment, Jenner revealed that she had engaged a law firm to ensure all her documentation reflected her correct gender. “All my documentation was right. My passport, global entry... I don't know if you remember last year I got stuck in Tel Aviv when they started bombing,” she recounted.
Despite her frustrations, Jenner clarified that she does not hold Trump personally responsible for the situation. “I love President Trump, and I think he signed this executive order. I don't know who underneath him was putting this thing together,” she explained, referring to the requirement that all federal documents must align with one's biological sex at birth.

“Recently, I had my passport renewed. I sent it back. It comes back with gender marker M. Screws everything up,” she continued. “There's a form in there if they made a mistake, you can correct it, so I fill out all the proper forms. I even sent a hard copy of my birth certificate. I did everything. They sent it back: M. They didn't change it at all.”
Jenner concluded her remarks with a sense of urgency: “So now I'm in a position, Tomi, what do I do? This is a safety factor. I can't travel internationally anymore. I can't use my passport. I can use Global Entry; it says F, I can travel in the United States—driver's license, pilot's license, everything, gender marker F. It really creates a big problem.”
