Anna Faris Reveals Cut Melania Trump Joke from 'Scary Movie 6' That Could Have Shattered Sensibilities
Anna Faris just dropped a bomb about a Melania Trump joke that got the axe from “Scary Movie 6.” The joke targeted the first lady’s “Be Best” campaign, which has faced relentless mockery since its inception.
Faris pushed for her character, Cindy, to dive into a “classic MAGA rabbit hole,” embodying the chaotic energy of those “you saw outside of the Walmart during quarantine.”
“There was a moment where I’m getting just wasted, just so drunk — I’m in my truck, of course, and I look into the rearview mirror, and I say, ‘Be best, Cindy Campbell. Be best,’” she recounted, referencing the first lady’s initiative against cyberbullying aimed at protecting children online.
“That didn’t make it, but I liked my little winking there.”

Since its launch during her husband’s first term, the “Be Best” campaign has been ridiculed, especially as the president unleashes insults on critics and opponents.
Last year, Trump revived the campaign, shifting its focus to combat deepfakes and revenge porn.
Faris returns to the franchise over two decades after her role in “Scary Movie 4,” defending her participation in what she calls “truly the most offensive movie ever made.”
“I participate in offensive ideas,” she stated. “I think I can kind of do anything. It liberated me.”
