Cheshire-born model Penny Lane, the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search winner, has taken Miami Swim Week by storm, dazzling audiences with her striking presence on the runway.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show unfolded at W South Beach, showcasing a lineup of models, media personalities, and celebrities flaunting swimwear. Among the stars were Tiffany Haddish, Achieng Agutu, Bethenny Frankel, and Maura Higgins.
Penny Lane turned heads in a rust-colored, sparkly bikini, followed by an eye-catching black one-piece swimsuit featuring elaborate cut-outs. Her performance solidified her status as “the star of the show.”
At 31 years old, Lane has already made a significant mark in the modeling world. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2024 after her debut in the 60th edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and continued to be featured in the 2025 issue.
Her talents extend beyond modeling; she appeared as Lex Luthor's bodyguard in the 2017 film Justice League and starred as a bride in Drake’s music video for Falling Back.
Lane shared a clip from her runway experience on TikTok, igniting a wave of enthusiastic responses. Comments flooded in, with one user declaring her a “goddess” and another stating, “she wins. Whatever the contest is, she the winner.”

The 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue runway show will be available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+ starting June 9, 2026.
SI Swimsuit general manager Hillary Drezner emphasized the significance of this expansion into streaming, stating it marks a defining moment for the brand.
