Brooklyn Beckham has unleashed a second round of controversy with a new DoorDash advert, seemingly mocking his family feud. The estranged son of David and Victoria Beckham has already ignited outrage with a cryptic campaign interpreted as a jab at his famous parents.
In this latest clip, Brooklyn delivers a line that cuts deep: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um...it’s because... it’s a long story.”
He then opens the door to a delivery driver, handing over his World Cup tickets while saying, “These can go to someone... else.” He adds, “Put them somewhere fun.”

This follows the first video, which ended with the words: “It’s complicated. More soon.” Many fans interpret this as a direct reference to Brooklyn’s bitter fallout with his parents, which became public earlier this year.
Critics have accused him of exploiting family drama for profit, with TV presenter Lorraine Kelly questioning his financial motives. The timing of this ad is particularly inflammatory, coinciding with ongoing disputes regarding the rift.
Just days prior, Brooklyn’s camp alleged that his parents staged a brief visit by his sister Harper to his Beverly Hills home, after photographers were spotted outside. Sharing the latest advert on Instagram, Brooklyn wrote: “Asked @doordash to go drop my FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for you guys... happy hunting.”

The backlash has been swift, with many branding the ads a colossal misstep. One comment garnered over 2,000 likes, stating: “This is a giant PR miss.” Another user remarked: “Anyone over 30 grew up watching and admiring your parents…..we’re all just laughing at you mate.”
Brooklyn's apparent willingness to escalate tensions starkly contrasts with his family's approach. When David Beckham was questioned about the rift during the unveiling of his Hollywood star, he refused to engage. “To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter,” David stated. “That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”
Romeo Beckham faced similar inquiries from photographers about the estrangement and simply replied: “We love him. We love him.”
