Celine Dion turned 58 on March 30, and she marked the occasion with exhilarating news: a return to the concert stage after a six-year hiatus.
The celebrated artist, known for her five Grammy wins, announced plans for ten performances at Paris’ La Défense Arena, set to begin on September 12 and conclude on October 14. Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 10, following a fan presale on April 7.

In a heartfelt announcement shared via social media, Dion released two emotional videos—one in English and another in French. “Over these last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. Even in my most difficult times, you were there for me,” she expressed. “You’ve helped me in ways I can’t even describe and I’m truly so fortunate to have your support. I’ve missed you so much.”
“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life,” she added. “I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September this year. I’m so happy, I’m so ready to do this. I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I am grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to see you again.”

Dion's last full concert took place in March 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of her Courage Tour. Initially expected to resume touring in 2023, she revealed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that severely affected her ability to perform. This condition can lead to debilitating symptoms, including a hunched posture and difficulty with movement.
Following her diagnosis, Dion canceled her remaining concert dates and kept a low profile until a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she presented the Album of the Year award to Taylor Swift. Later that year, she delivered a haunting rendition of “Hymne à l’amour” atop the Eiffel Tower during the Summer Olympics in Paris and shared her health journey in the Emmy-nominated documentary “I Am: Celine Dion.”
Recently, hints of her comeback began surfacing through quirky social media videos that showcased her humor. Earlier this month, posters featuring titles of her iconic songs like “The Power of Love” and “My Heart Will Go On” appeared throughout Paris, igniting speculation about her imminent return to the spotlight.
