NewsNation was rolling when chaos erupted outside the iconic building, revealing a scene of utter terror.

In the heart-stopping video, frantic individuals dash across the manicured lawn while a Secret Service officer bellows, "Everyone out!"

A NewsNation anchor urgently relayed, "Panic outside the White House. We're following this breaking news. Possible shots fired near our nation's capital at the White House. We have NewsNation's Chris Flanagan on the ground." Chris was forcibly removed from his live shot position and directed towards safety in the press briefing room by Secret Service agents.

As the broadcast shifted, Chris's voice crackled through, revealing his precarious situation. "So Alex, we are still in lockdown in the briefing room. We have not been given the all-clear to leave. Secret Service is still out on the North Lawn," he reported.

"We heard about 25 or 30 rapid-fire shots right after 6 PM Eastern Time, just after our live segment," he continued, detailing the harrowing moments that followed. "Secret Service rushed us into the briefing room, yelling, 'Shots fired! Get down! Get into the press briefing room!'"

The camera then cut to a live feed of the North Lawn, where Chris had been reporting moments before being evacuated.

"They're live here at the North Lawn of the White House. For perspective, we were doing live shots right over there by those lights and green awning," he explained as the camera zoomed in on the area.

Alex chimed in, "And Chris, that's a powerful visual right there. Look at all those lights from reporter live shots still on. It really shows how quickly everything can change. You guys had to abandon your equipment just to escape."

The gunfire reportedly erupted at Pennsylvania Ave and 17th Street, alarmingly close to the Oval Office.

According to Chris's account on NewsNation, around 20 to 30 gunshots rang out as journalists were hurried into the safety of the press briefing room.

A bystander was injured during the incident as Secret Service agents neutralized the threat.

This incident follows reports that Trump’s eldest son, Donald Jr., had to relocate his wedding for an embarrassing reason.
