NJ Prison Guard Busted in Steamy Affair with Inmate, Paid Lookouts for Secret Trysts
A female prison guard's scandalous affair with an inmate at a New Jersey federal prison included paying other prisoners to act as lookouts during their sexual encounters, leading to a pregnancy scare, according to federal authorities.
Jordan Pensak, a 27-year-old corrections officer at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, Burlington County, received a criminal summons from the FBI after being charged for a sexual act with the male inmate on January 8.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Pensak has been placed on administrative leave while the criminal proceedings unfold. The agency declined to comment further due to ongoing litigation.
Investigators revealed that the affair had been ongoing for over a year, with Pensak joking about the possibility of being impregnated by the inmate.
Beginning in 2024, Pensak engaged in sexual acts with the inmate multiple times in a prison office. The inmate allegedly paid other prisoners to serve as "lookouts" during these encounters, as detailed in the federal charges against her.

Pensak, who hinted at having a husband in text messages, exchanged over 100 sexually explicit messages, photos, and videos with her imprisoned lover.
After seizing her personal cellphone, investigators found text messages where Pensak admitted to the sexual relationship and stated it had been ongoing "for the past year." In another message from February, she acknowledged her criminal actions.
Federal investigators also seized two contraband cell phones belonging to the inmate, which contained numerous sexually explicit chats and over 100 explicit images of the couple.
Pensak experienced a pregnancy scare in January when she texted someone believed to be a former inmate, stating, “Im 3 days late for my period you ready to be an uncle?”
On January 29, she expressed concern about the implications for the investigation, saying, “That aint good for the investigation.”

In another message, she humorously speculated about the potential race of her child: “If the baby black and my husband white and Korean?!”
Investigators obtained a search warrant for an Instagram account used by the inmate, revealing discussions about their relationship from August 2025 to January 2026, where they professed their love.
A separate search warrant was executed in May for an Instagram account believed to be used by Pensak to communicate with other inmates regarding her alleged relationship.
FCI Fort Dix is a low-security institution located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst, housing around 4,000 male inmates.
Pensak appeared before Magistrate Judge Elizabeth A. Pascal in federal District Court in Camden and was released on bail. She faces a maximum sentence of 15 years if convicted of sexual abuse of an individual in federal custody.
Pensak was scheduled for another appearance in federal court in Camden on Tuesday afternoon.
