Trump Slams FBI as 'Wasting Their Time' Over Lindsey Graham's Death
FBI agents are “wasting their time” at the residence of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, according to President Trump, who made the remarks following Graham’s unexpected death. The 71-year-old lawmaker passed away Saturday night, prompting a flurry of speculation and investigation.
Trump expressed skepticism about the FBI's motives, stating, “I don’t see a lot of evil there.” He criticized the agency's focus on conspiracy theories surrounding Graham’s death, suggesting that their efforts were misguided. “I think the FBI is wasting their time if they’re doing that,” he added.
Graham reportedly died from an aortic dissection, a condition that can lead to sudden death. Trump noted that Graham had recently complained of a “bad back,” which he identified as a potential warning sign for such a life-threatening event.

Adding fuel to the fire, Graham had just returned from Ukraine hours before his death. His strong support for Ukraine, including calls for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has led to rampant speculation about possible Kremlin involvement.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the bureau is “assisting local authorities” and has allocated necessary resources to the investigation. Reports indicated that a significant number of agents were present at Graham’s residence over the weekend.
On Monday alone, nearly 20 agents were seen at the South Carolina Republican’s townhouse, intensifying scrutiny over the circumstances surrounding his death.

Trump expressed confidence in the medical explanations provided, recalling that Graham’s father had also died from a heart attack at age 69. “At first I heard it was clogged arteries, because he did have clogged arteries. He had a problem with that. I wish he took better care of himself,” Trump remarked.
He elaborated on the nature of Graham’s condition, stating, “What happened is actually something that’s very hard to detect. It was not related to any blockage.”
Trump claimed to have reviewed all medical reports and consulted with White House doctors regarding Graham’s health issues. “Sounds unfortunate, but there’s not much you can do about it … his father died of the same thing at about the same age,” he said.
He concluded with a note on the undetectable nature of such conditions, stating, “They say it’s almost undetectable. You can detect it if you have a very bad back… and he would tell me he had a bad back, but little did anyone know it was because of that.”
