Dean Cain, 59, Rips Into ‘Supergirl’ Star Milly Alcock, 26, with ‘Disgusting’ Remarks

Dean Cain, the former Superman, unleashed a wave of outrage with his “disgusting” remarks about Milly Alcock, who is set to portray Supergirl. The 56-year-old actor took to X to mock Alcock’s appearance, specifically her ear piercings, questioning their compatibility with a bulletproof superhero.

In a post that sparked fury, Cain reshared a photo of Alcock dressed as Supergirl, accompanied by a user’s comment: “Wait … if Supergirl’s skin is bulletproof, how does she have ear piercings?” Cain responded with a thinking face emoji, showing he was entertained by the jab.

The situation escalated when another user compared Alcock to Cha-Ka from the 1970s series “Land of the Lost,” prompting Cain to admit, “Dang it … I laughed.” This admission only fueled the fire of criticism directed at him.

Critics wasted no time in calling out Cain’s behavior. One user slammed him as “shallow and cruel,” while another remarked, “Some ‘Superman’ you turned out to be, huh?” A third critic pointed out the age gap, stating, “You are old enough to be her father and have a big voice. Maybe don’t empower her bullies.”

Another user expressed disappointment, saying, “What a shame, I used to admire you.” The backlash continued with comments like, “How unprofessional and disgusting of you to say that.”

Representatives for both Alcock and Cain were not available for comment. Cain starred as Clark Kent in the 1990s series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” which aired for four seasons from 1993 to 1997 alongside Teri Hatcher.

Milly Alcock is set to take on the role of Supergirl, aka Kara Zor-El, in an upcoming superhero film scheduled for release on June 26. She has previously appeared in HBO’s “House of the Dragon” as a young Rhaenyra Targaryen and in the show “Upright” as Meg Adams.
