Dianna Russini's Passionate Public Display with Husband Amid Scandal
Dianna Russini locked lips with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, on Mother’s Day, marking their first public appearance since the scandal involving NFL coach Mike Vrabel erupted.
Last month, the NFL reporter was caught in a whirlwind of drama when she and Vrabel were seen getting cozy at the adults-only Ambiente Resort in Sedona, Arizona. Both are married and have kids, yet they denied any wrongdoing. But the plot thickened as more images surfaced, raising eyebrows.
While Vrabel dodged any NFL repercussions, Russini’s career took a hit as she exited her role at The Athletic amidst the chaos. Initially backed by the outlet, the mounting scrutiny led to her departure. Meanwhile, Goldschmidt faced his own setbacks, including a Shake Shack mishap.

Despite the media frenzy, both Goldschmidt and Jen Vrabel, Mike’s wife, seem to be holding their ground without any divorce filings in sight. On Sunday, the couple was seen sharing a kiss, their first public display since the scandal broke, as captured by Page Six.
A source close to the couple revealed they’re standing strong together, attending their children’s events and family gatherings throughout the turmoil. “They’ve been very resilient as a family. They haven’t been in hiding,” the insider shared.
Meanwhile, Vrabel is set to attend counseling during the 2026 NFL Draft. The New England Patriots head coach, married to Jen since 1999, insists that he and Russini were simply enjoying time with friends during their Arizona getaway.
“These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response,” Vrabel declared when the scandal first broke.

But the heat only intensified. Shortly after his statement, old photos of the duo looking intimate at a New York City bar from 2020 resurfaced. Even more eyebrow-raising was footage of a visibly pregnant Russini and Vrabel on a private boat trip in Tennessee back in 2021.
This ongoing drama has thrown a wrench into Vrabel’s preparations for the 2026 NFL season. Last year, he turned the Patriots’ dismal 4-13 record into a Super Bowl run during his first season as head coach.
The Patriots remain firmly behind Vrabel. A statement from the franchise last month read: “The New England Patriots fully support Mike Vrabel’s decision to prioritize his family first, as well as his own well-being. Mike has been open with us about his commitment to being the best version of himself for his family, this team and our fans, and we respect the steps he is taking to follow through on that commitment.”
As the Patriots gear up for their offseason schedule with OTAs running from May 27 to June 11 and mandatory minicamp from June 15-17, the drama continues to unfold. Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders dropped a cryptic message as the Cleveland Browns QB battle heats up.
