Eric Trump’s Blind Trust Claims Exposed: House Dem Drops Bombshell Receipts
Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) isn’t holding back. On Friday, he unleashed a social media storm, slapping down Eric Trump’s claims about the family’s financial dealings with hard evidence. “Outright lies,” Beyer fired off on X, challenging the narrative that Donald Trump’s assets are safely tucked away in a blind trust.
Outright lies.

Trump's assets aren't in a blind trust, and he bought and sold individual Nvidia stock in 15 separate transactions totaling millions of dollars.
That's what Trump's financial disclosure - which has his signature - says.

“Trump’s assets aren’t in a blind trust,” Beyer continued, “and he bought and sold individual Nvidia stock in 15 separate transactions totaling millions of dollars. That’s what Trump’s financial disclosure - which has his signature - says. See for yourself.”
With a click, Beyer linked to a disclosure form revealing that Donald Trump had purchased up to $1 million in Nvidia stock just days before the tech giant was given the green light to sell advanced computer chips to China. Talk about timing!
This revelation comes amid a whirlwind of controversy following President Trump’s recent trip to China, where he was accompanied by a cadre of tech CEOs, including Nvidia’s own Jensen Huang. The stakes couldn’t be higher.
On Thursday, the U.S. Office of Government Ethics dropped a bombshell filing showing thousands of stock purchases by Donald Trump during the first quarter of 2026. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) didn’t hold back, raising alarms on social media about the implications, particularly regarding Nvidia.
“Trump brought the NVIDIA CEO on his trip to China to lobby [President] Xi Jinping to buy advanced AI chips, even though it would create a U.S. national security threat,” Warren tweeted. “It turns out Trump also bought millions in NVIDIA’s stock.”

In response, Eric Trump took to X, dismissing Warren’s claims as “a lie and blatantly false,” insisting that every asset of his father’s is wrapped up in a blind trust. “Please be better than this...” he added, but Beyer wasn’t done yet.
Beyer’s rebuttal pointed directly to the damning disclosure form. The 113-page document reveals Donald Trump engaged in 2,345 purchases and 1,296 sales of mostly individual stocks this year alone. He signed it on May 8, 2026—just one week before his China trip with Huang.

“The president purchasing Nvidia shares a week before his own Commerce Department allows them to sell one of our most valuable assets to our main geopolitical opponent is unfathomably more corrupt than anything on Hilary Clinton’s email server,” one user on X remarked, capturing the outrage.

During his first term, Trump claimed there were no conflicts of interest regarding his finances because his assets were in a blind trust. However, Walter Shaub, then-head of the ethics agency, publicly stated it was “not even halfway blind” before resigning in July 2017.
Since stepping into the political arena, Trump has raked in a fortune. Forbes reported in March that his net worth stands at an eye-popping $6.5 billion, with $1.4 billion added to his wealth since his 2024 reelection campaign began. The question remains: how much longer can this charade continue?
