Erika Kirk Sparks Outrage for Intruding on Usha Vance's Family Planning

Erika Kirk reportedly meddled in Usha Vance's family decisions, pushing for the second lady to have another child, which has enraged conservatives.

Turning Point USA co-founder Erika Kirk's influence over Usha Vance has drawn sharp criticism. The backlash intensified after Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt revealed the birth of baby boy Alec Neel Vance on July 20.

On July 19, Vice President JD Vance and Usha Vance welcomed their fourth child. The couple already has two sons, Ewan and Vivek, along with a daughter named Mirabel.

Earhardt claimed that Kirk, aged 37, played a significant role in Usha's decision to expand her family. She stated, "Erika Kirk really influenced Usha. She said that Erika had said she wished she had had more children with Charlie Kirk, which helped lead their decision to expand their family and become a family of six."

Earhardt emphasized the closeness between Usha and Erika, noting that discussions about family expansion were common among the Kirks. "They were pro-family," she added, suggesting that the current administration champions family values.

However, social media erupted with criticism aimed at Kirk for her involvement in personal matters. One viewer remarked, "That is so cringe. On many levels. Red flag alert."

Another user expressed disdain, stating, "Pretty pathetic that a cult lady — the wife of a murdered bigot — is the one influencing family planning for the VP."

A third commenter bluntly stated, "None of your damn business, actually. Why are you getting involved, Erika? It's not your kid!"

Despite the backlash, some support emerged for Kirk. One follower congratulated her, writing, "Mazel tov on the birth of your little man. May blessings rain down on your growing family."

The vice president and second lady announced their son's arrival in a joint social media post the day before. They confirmed that both Usha and the newborn were healthy.

"We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning," they wrote. "Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother."

The couple expressed gratitude towards the medical team that supported them during the pregnancy and delivery.

"The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing," they stated.

JD and Usha first revealed their pregnancy on January 20.
