Frankie Muniz Scrubs Divorce Announcement After Savage Backlash
Frankie Muniz, known for his role in “Malcolm in the Middle,” has abruptly announced his divorce from Paige Price after six years of marriage.
The 40-year-old actor took to Instagram to share the news, which appeared to be amicable, with Paige even chiming in to support him in the comments.

However, the situation took a strange turn when Muniz faced a “cruel” online backlash, prompting him to delete his initial post revealing the split.
His original announcement featured a video of the couple dancing with their young son, which many deemed inappropriate given the context of their separation.

“Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,” Muniz stated.
He reflected on their decade together, noting that they had grown into a deep friendship and effective co-parents.
“We share an incredible son who remains the centre of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared,” he added.

Muniz expressed gratitude towards Paige for putting her dreams on hold while he pursued his own, emphasizing their foundation of respect and friendship.
The couple plans to co-parent their son and continue collaborating on Muniz Racing, the actor's stock car racing business.

Paige commented on the post, referencing the now-deleted original video that showcased their family’s joyful moments.
Critics felt that such a cheerful video was in poor taste for a divorce announcement. Paige defended Muniz, stating, “Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you.”
She continued, “This world is so f***ed … divorce is bad, sure – it’s not like we’re excited about it … but we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team.”

Supportive fans who witnessed the original post expressed their dismay at its removal.
“Aw. I’m glad I got to see the first one right before it disappeared. It was so cute,” one fan remarked.

Another fan shared, “The video was lovely. As a child who survived a bad divorce, it was healing to see 2 people who love each other and themselves & walking through it together.”
A top-rated comment read, “I thought the video was very sweet and hopeful. You guys are a great family no matter what and will always be family.”
Muniz began dating Paige in 2016, marrying four years later and welcoming their son in 2021.
