Jeremy Clarkson Weeps as Hawkstone Farmers Choir Claims BGT Crown in Historic Win
Jeremy Clarkson, visibly emotional, hailed the Hawkstone Farmers Choir's triumph on Britain's Got Talent as "the best thing ever." The 66-year-old presenter of Clarkson's Farm expressed his joy during the final, where the choir delivered a powerful performance.
In a heartfelt message on Simon Cowell's Instagram, Clarkson admitted to feeling genuine nerves as the choir took the stage. He recounted doubts from others, stating, "The girl on the door said, 'oh I’m not sure they’re going to win,' the odds were drifting, and I thought, no." His optimism shone through despite the skepticism.

Clarkson praised the choir's relentless dedication, emphasizing their hard work: "These guys worked so hard, it’s the best thing ever Simon, thank you for having them." His enthusiasm resonated with Cowell, who affirmed their deserving victory.
Following their historic win, choir member Katryna Shell addressed hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, declaring, "We are the first-ever choir to have won Britain's Got Talent." She dedicated their achievement to the farming community and urged those struggling to speak out: "This is for all the farmers out there, for anybody that’s struggling, it’s not a taboo subject, if you’re not OK, speak up, this is for the farmers."

The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir will receive a £250,000 cash prize and perform at the Royal Variety Performance. The choir members hailed Clarkson as their "biggest cheerleader," expressing immense gratitude for his support.
Judge KSI, known as Olajide Olatunji, revealed his intention to add their original track, This Is Home, to his Spotify playlist after witnessing their performance.

During the finale, Simon Cowell admitted he had reservations about their choice to perform an original song. However, after seeing their act, he praised them, stating "it paid off," and described their performance as "absolutely stunning," "heartfelt," and "joyous." Fellow judge Amanda Holden was moved to tears by their act.
In third place was dog act Anastasiia and Salsa, while drone display team Celestial secured second place with a pre-recorded performance that recreated iconic moments from previous series of Britain's Got Talent using illuminated drones.
